Should you go see Kingsman?
Kingsman is a great movie packed with action and light humour. For me, this movie is basically perfect. The director of the movie approached dark subject and characters with a humorist twist which allow you to enjoy the movie, action’s scene and story. Think of the main character of the movie as James Bond but younger and with a more funny outlook on life. You should definitely go see this movie if you like movies that can be characterized as action or comedies.
What I liked about Kingman
I liked many things about this movie but if I had to pick, it would be the evolution of our main character, Eggsy. From a background of street rat with a dysfunctional family to super agent with the abilities to save the world was very entertaining. The fact that the agents of Kingman always wear suits just accented the changes in Eggsy presence.
What I didn’t liked about Kingsman
Kingsman is an all around great movie. Some people might miss the drama that plague other movies of the genre. The best example of this would be James Bond Skyfall with constant questioning of agent James Bond about his service to the majesty and the depression that follows. There is none of that in Kingsman. The basic foundation of the movie are action, humour and light story which completely surpassed my expectations.
The plot of Kingsman
The story of Kingsman is based upon the life of Eggsy, a young delinquent who live in Britain with his mother and her current boyfriend who’s a small time mob boss. His father died when he was young and that pretty much started the downfall of his mother who is now a poor example of a mother. Eggsy try to do his best with what he’s got but things aren’t looking good for him until he meet an old army buddy of his late father. Everything is about to changes. He is recruited into the secret service of Kingsman due to his father involvement with the group and his heroic acts but first, Eggsy must be able to pass the recruitment process which is rather hard and dangerous. The fact that the organization is strictly restricted to nobility and gentlemen make the recruitment even harder of Eggsy but I can assure you that you’ll enjoy every minute of it.
