Should you go see it
Furious 7 probably is one of the best of the series. It was a kind of strange feeling to watch a movie knowing the main actor which you are supposed to fall in love with and hope he survive is actually already dead in life. I think the director of the movie perfectly accounted for it and turned what could have been a huge mess into a movie to be proud of and a beautiful homage to Paul Walker and his family.
So, do I recommend the movie? Hell yes. If you liked the others Fast And Furious, I guarantee that you’ll love this one too. Beautiful girl in bikini, awesome cars and the original cast. What’s not to like?
Pros and cons of the movie
Pros: The movie is packed with great action and car scenes which will make you want to go outside and start car racing. They also made a great goodbye scene to Paul Walker and all along the movie, you just couldn’t tell that it wasn’t Paul playing Bryan. I remember telling my brothers after the movie that he must had died after shooting the movie because I couldn’t spot any doubles or errors but just recently, I learned that they actually used CGI and Paul’s brothers to finish the scenes. I truly couldn’t tell from the movie. Awesome. May you rest in peace Paul.
Cons: I don’t really think there is cons to this movie because it perfectly reflect the Fast and Furious franchise. If you are the kind of person who likes deep story and drama, just don’t go see Furious 7. It won’t be a movie that you like but keep in mind that nobody go see a Fast and Furious movie for that kind of thing so in that regard, I think Furious 7 hit the mark.
The death of Paul Walker, the homage
To finish the movie, the director used CGI, Paul’s brothers and a couple of others tricks to finish it off and I think he did a beautiful job of it too. The end of the movie is dedicated to Paul Walker and they actually added a little romanticism so that we can actually say our goodbyes. I loved it.
All in all, Furious 7 is a great action-car movie and I recommend you go see it. You won’t be disappointed.
